Donna Connor founded On The Go Weddings & Events after experiencing the same stress and imbalance that most of her clients face. She saw an opportunity to help people manage their personal to-do lists and assist with milestone events such as weddings, showers, birthday and graduation parties, and holiday gatherings.
With a background in marketing, sales and event planning, she’s well equipped to assist businesses with corporate events and the day-to-day demands of their business.
Donna Connor is the founder of On The Go Weddings & Events, specializing in wedding & event planning, event management, and day-of coordination. Donna brings a keen eye for detail, strong local connections, and a passion for creating seamless unforgettable events. She’s been in business for over 12 years and has experience in a variety of events. Whether orchestrating grand celebrations with 250+ guests or intimate backyard gatherings of 50, or anything in between, she ensures every event shines! Her expertise allows her to anticipate details clients might overlook, making the planning process effortless and enjoyable.
Donna’s dedication to excellence has earned her WeddingWire’s Couple’s Choice Award for nine consecutive years, multiple Best of Saratoga in Wedding Planning awards, and recognition as Ambassador of the Year from the local Chamber. With over 25 years of experience in sales, marketing, and event planning, she understands the complexities of organizing private events, corporate functions, and weddings—helping clients navigate every detail with ease.
A creative and energetic professional, Donna thrives on developing new ideas and ensuring every project is completed with precision. She offers a la carte services, including customized favors and welcome bags, bartending for private events, professional photo booth services, and home party staffing. Beyond her business, Donna is committed to her community, actively volunteering and striving to elevate industry standards. She serves as a board member of The Friends of Saratoga County Animal Shelter, supporting the welfare of animals in need.
Outside of work, Donna enjoys hosting and entertaining friends, spending time with her family and dog, and engaging in outdoor activities like boating, swimming, and sightseeing. A proud local resident for over 25 years, she is passionate about creating stress-free, memorable events for her clients.
